Why did you choose GeoMax? We chose Geomax because of its versatility and the extremely user-friendly software/interface that comes with it. GeoMax operates with XPAD which works off a tablet that enables you to do nearly everything you would normally do on a computer. The extensive features include its own CAD screen, allowing the user to draw changes, make alterations and gather information from any survey or setting out data. The coding system is very straight forward and it allows you to create your own codes and identify them differently. Even the basic features of surveying and stakeout have encompassed several different ways this can be done. GeoMax are constantly updating and rolling out new features of XPAD which continue to help us on a daily basis. How has using GeoMax instruments helped you with your business? GeoMax has helped the business by speeding up processes, increasing productivity and reducing the number of processes we have to go through in order to present and analyse data. GeoMax now enables us to draw 3D surfaces and run volumes on the tablet itself before creating a report which can be sent wirelessly to a computer device. This maximises efficiency by reducing time lost through waiting to process the information when it can be done by the user. XPAD365 allows information to be uploaded wirelessly, and in real time, from anyone to anywhere. We ideally require 24 hours’ notice for new hires and can usually supply most stock equipment within 24 hours.
Instrument exchanges will be done free of charge on any faulty instruments, but any damage or lost equipment will incur a charge.
There is a whole selection of training videos and quick guides available upon request and also accessible from our rugged tablets.
In order to rent an instrument, you will be required to open an account with us, this process is straight forward, we require you to complete our new customer form and if hiring as an individual you will be required to supply us with a copy of a valid form of I.D such as a driver's license, a deposit or upfront payment will also be required for new customers, this is dependent on the value of the instrument.
All our customers are entitled to unlimited telephone support which is often complimented with the use of TeamViewer and Microsoft Teams for remote training. On site instrument, familiarisation sessions are also available for all new hires with prior arrangements.
Hire equipment is mainly delivered and collected by our trained delivery drivers unless outside of delivery range (approx. 150 miles from our office in Biggleswade). You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs if returning sale items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
